Our process begins with helping clients to ask the right questions that get to the heart of the challenge they face. Once we understand the true nature of a situation, we can confidently recommend practical, implementable, and sustainable solutions.
How can centering the needs of care providers lower infant mortality rates in rural areas?
Medically sound but difficult to use, existing Neonatal Resuscitators created barriers for providers to confidently deliver timely procedures. We redesigned the form for usability and safety, including key features geared for both public and private settings. The improved device launched with a digital training platform enabling seamless integration with national EMS training

What is the best delivery mechanism for a new agricultural solution to protect against climate change?
It turns out... one that already exists. We talked to the people on the ground, farmers, to discover opportunities for product delivery within existing infrastructure. Our findings saved money on unnecessary investments and created partnerships for future testing.

How can we use AR to apply spatial association methods in adult education?
In developing an augmented reality platform, the endless possibilities for the use of the technology in education was both an aid and impediment. By simplifying the concept for testing specifically in a medical school context, we collected feedback that led to an MVP with key features delivering immediate value to learners.

Can disparate datasets help inform internal decision making about where to invest for the future?
User insights data collected without clear metrics for success didn't add up to a clear narrative. We sifted through reports to find insights and opportunities for asking additional questions. Once these gaps in collective knowledge were brought to the surface we created tools and frameworks to avoid similar pitfalls and enable user driven decisions for future investments.

Meet our Principal and Founder, Radhika Agarwal
With diverse experiences in robotics, strategy, design, biology and music, Radhika brings an interdisciplinary approach to her work. Having grown up in Tokyo, Singapore and Hong Kong, her unique approach is influenced by strong cultural awareness, building partnerships that encourage collaboration and leverage existing infrastructure. In addition to her work at Reground, Radhika is an analog filmmaker, faculty member at the Copenhagen Institute for Interaction Design and advisor for the MoMA and New Inc.
Radhika has supported a variety of clients and organizations in capacities such as Lead Strategist, Head of Product, Creative Director and startup Co-Founder in diverse spaces such as healthcare, education, emerging technologies and hospitality.
Through these engagements, she has applied a deep understanding of the end to end design and development cycle, successfully incubating ideas and scaling products in global markets from concept to consumer sale. Radhika works with a diverse network of experts who bring complementary experience to the table. These disciplines include: public policy, communication design, technical prototyping, engineering.
